Terms of Service

• You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

• We respect user privacy and allow the use of personal email addresses. However, registering with disposable/temporary/one-time email services for the purpose of obtaining, extending, or circumventing free trial tokens is prohibited.
• If we detect disposable or abusive email usage, we may revoke free credits, suspend or terminate accounts, and permanently remove such users from the application without refund.
• We may block known disposable email domains and related signals (e.g., device/IP fingerprints) to protect the platform.
• Paid accounts may be required to maintain a valid, reachable email address for critical account communications.

• We may grant new registered users promotional credits (e.g., 1000 tokens) to try the Service. Unless otherwise stated, these credits expire 14 days after registration and have no cash value.
• Abuse protections apply. We may revoke or adjust credits in cases of suspected fraud, multi-accounting, or abuse of fair-use limits.
• Using disposable/temporary/one-time email addresses to obtain or extend free trial tokens is considered abuse. We may revoke credits and permanently remove such users from the platform, including banning related accounts and identifiers.
• Credits and pricing may change at any time. Unused credits may be voided upon material changes, account closure, or policy violations.

• Jobs are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not currently offer paid priority or guaranteed start/finish times.
• Capacity is limited by available hardware. We strive to improve availability, but we do not guarantee performance, throughput, or latency.
• We may dynamically adjust scheduling policies to protect platform stability and fairness across users and plans.

• You agree to use the Services in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
• You are solely responsible for content you upload, transform, or distribute via the Services.
• Do not upload or process content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy, or contains illegal material.
• We may implement technical limits (e.g., rate-limiting, file size/duration caps) to protect the platform and ensure fair use.

Convertrilo enables you to upload audiovisual files, choose encoding settings (e.g., codec, resolution, container), and submit jobs for our workers to process. When a job completes, we provide an encoded output file for you to download. We are a processing platform and do not publish or distribute your content.

• No reverse engineering, scraping, or automated high-frequency requests beyond documented limits.
• No attempts to bypass security, interfere with services, or access data not intended for you.
• No use for malware distribution, illegal surveillance, harassment, or discriminatory purposes.

We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including software, documentation, brand, and related intellectual property. You retain ownership of your content.

By uploading or otherwise providing content to the Services, you grant us and our sub-processors a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, copy, transcode, transmit, and otherwise process that content solely for the purposes of operating the Service and fulfilling your encoding requests. This license terminates when processing is completed and the content is deleted from our systems in accordance with these Terms.

• You are solely responsible for the content you upload and the consequences of submitting it for processing. We do not monitor or pre-screen content but may investigate reports of abuse.
• We do not condone piracy or any infringement of copyright or other rights. If we receive a complaint or credible notice that a specific user is using the Service to infringe rights or violate law, we may investigate and, at our discretion, suspend or ban that user from the platform without exception.
• If you believe content processed via our Service violates your rights, please contact us with sufficient detail to identify the material and the basis of the claim. We will review and take appropriate action, which may include disabling access to outputs and terminating repeat infringers.

• Input files you upload for a job are deleted automatically after a successful encoding completes. If a job fails or is aborted, we may retain inputs briefly for troubleshooting before deletion.
• Output files are provided for you to download. You can delete an output at any time using the delete button in the product UI. If you delete an output, we will remove it from our storage.
• If you do not delete outputs, we may retain them for a limited time to enable re-download and support. Retention windows may vary by plan or feature and are subject to change.
• We are not an archival service and do not guarantee long-term storage or backup of content. You are responsible for keeping your own copies.

• Paid plans are billed in advance. Taxes may apply depending on jurisdiction.
• Trials, credits, and promotional offers are time-limited and subject to change.
• Fees are non-refundable unless required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.

• For frictionless trials, the public encoder allows limited, non-authenticated jobs with strict caps (e.g., per-IP daily limits, file size/duration limits). Attempts to bypass these controls are prohibited.
• We may queue public jobs at lower priority than paid workloads and may pause or throttle public access to protect the platform.
• URL ingest (server-side fetching of a provided link) is subject to additional safety checks, including host allow/block lists and file type/size validation. Certain hosts or host suffixes may be blocked for abuse prevention. If a host is blocked, the UI will inform you and you may instead download the file locally and upload it directly.
• We employ human verification (e.g., Cloudflare Turnstile) for public usage and other abuse signals. If verification fails or expires, submissions may be rejected. You may be asked to retry the verification.
• To enforce fair-use limits, we use technical controls such as cookies (e.g., an anonymous browser identifier), IP-based limits, burst limits, and similar rate limiting. For cross-site usage (e.g., app domain and API on different subdomains), cookies may be set with attributes required for secure cross-site requests.
• We may apply IP and network (ASN) screening to reduce automated abuse from data center networks. Access from such networks may be subject to stricter limits or be blocked outright for the public tool.
• Public-job access tokens are bound to the originating client and/or IP address for fraud prevention. Tokens are short-lived and non-transferable; attempts to share tokens across different networks or clients may be denied.
• We reserve the right to apply additional network or protocol-level protections (e.g., throttling or limiting live status updates) to maintain service stability.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where feasible, we will provide notice of material changes.

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free or meet your requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gennaro Labs and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your content or your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any violation of these Terms or to protect the platform and its users. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved by competent courts in that jurisdiction, unless a mandatory law grants you a different right.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified where required. By continuing to use the Services, you agree to the updated Terms.
